In the beginning Rod Rance wanted to develop a product that surpassed anything available in industry. At that time, the kinds of components neccessary for such an undertaking were not available, and many had to be engineered to meet the customer's needs. Thus was born the "Renegade by Rance", the first enclosed trailer of its kind.

Over the years, the competitions' trailers have begun to include items that Rance has designed and developed. They say imitation is a form of flattery and we could not agree more.
